A
little about me...
I
have more than 25 years of administrative experience including
government, industry, and the not-for-profit sector.
Since
graduating from the journalism program at the Western
Academy of Photography, I
have
focused my work
using my writing, editing and
proofreading skills. I have worked in publishing as an editor for
special interest magazines and in
production of legislative
amendments
requiring a sharp eye for details.
Additionally,
I
have been involved with producing newsletters for a variety of
non-profits for five
years, most notably the Bridges
for Women Society.

have written feature and news stories for a variety of audiences and my
work has been published nationally. I am a member of PEAVI, the Professional
Editors Association of
Vancouver Island and frequently
take part in workshops hosted by PEAVI. Most recently, I participated
in "The Secrets of Syntax" and "Eight Step Editing" workshops.
